Summary of Position:

Reporting to the Director of Payroll, the Payroll Manager plays a key part in Scholar Rock’s payroll function and ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and internal policy requirements. This role will have responsibility for payroll processing, tax and regulatory compliance, payroll records, audits, reconciliations, and payroll system administration. The Payroll Manager partners closely with Human Resources as well as other departments and external vendors to support a reliable and efficient payroll operation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in processing multi-state payroll in a public company environment. This position will require a hands-on approach, strong organization, clear communication, attention to detail and a great sense of teamwork.
