Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) – Inpatient Pediatrics

Wisestaff is urgently seeking qualified Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN/LPNs) for full-time positions in the Inpatient Pediatric Unit at SAMMC/BAMC in San Antonio, TX.

Candidates must have at least one (1) year of inpatient pediatric experience working as an LVN/LPN within the last three (3) years.

This qualifying experience must be clearly shown on your resume.

LVNs work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to provide bedside nursing care to patients. Responsibilities include monitoring and observing patients, assisting with treatments and medications, documenting care, and communicating with patients and their families regarding care and treatment.

Requirements

Inpatient Pediatric LVN/LPN Requirements:

• •At least one (1) year of inpatient pediatric experience as an LVN/LPN within the last three (3) years
• •Qualifying experience must be clearly shown on your resume
• •Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• •Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• •Valid LVN/LPN license from any U.S. jurisdiction
• •Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• •Must be able to pass a background check for government clearance
