Per Diem Physician Assistant - Urology

The Urology team at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital provides care for the full range of urologic disorders, from the most common to the most challenging. PAs are included in a range of urologic procedures including BPH, ED, kidney stones, infertility, and urologic cancers.

The Urology PA is part of a comprehensive team covering surgical patients admitted to the hospital as well as performing urology consultations. PAs serve as front line providers rounding with surgical attendings, writing notes, orders, and performing necessary bedside procedures.

Per Diem PAs cover all shifts including night, weekend, and holidays.

Required Criteria

-At least one year of experience in inpatient Urology.

-Bachelor’s or Masters in Physician Assistant related studies

-NYS PA Licensure

-Current NCCPA Certification

-ACLS/BLS

-NYS Infection Control certification

-DEA Certification with NYS Opioid Prescriber training compliance
