As the Paid Search Marketing Manager for the DE/AT market, you will play a key role in driving growth and profitability through expertly managed paid search campaigns. You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives, shaping how we connect with both sides of our marketplace - homeowners and tradespeople. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to consistently improving performance while exploring new opportunities to innovate and expand. This role reports to a Paid Search Director.

What you’ll do:

Own the day-to-day management and optimization of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns, ensuring they deliver maximum profitability.

Conduct in-depth keyword research, running ad copy tests, and analyzing performance to continually improve profitability and ROAS.

Partner with our Product and Analytics teams to implement advanced reporting and actionable insights.

Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends, testing new strategies, and exploring untapped opportunities for paid search growth.

Leverage AI tools and agents (e.g. Claude-based workflows, Google Ads Scripts automation) for campaign monitoring, reporting, and anomaly detection to work more efficiently and surface insights faster.

Who you are:

2-4 years of experience in Paid Search Marketing, specifically with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.

Experience with budget management, bid optimization, and performance tracking.

Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English.

Nice to have:

Experience with display or video advertising as a supplementary skill.

Experience with marketplace management

Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.

Comfort working with AI tools and agents (e.g. Claude, automation scripts) to accelerate reporting and analysis — a definite plus, though not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary band for this position ranges from €50,000 - 65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
