Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a multidisciplinary clinical team at a school in Tadworth. This independent specialist day school provides high-quality education for children and young people with autism and additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory issues, and associated behavioural challenges.

As part of a joined-up clinical model, you will work collaboratively with educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver specialist speech and language therapy interventions for children and young people with autism and associated conditions.

Support teams around the child to ensure clinically informed environments and experiences.

Provide assessment, formulation, and individualised therapy plans.

Act as a model, guide, and trainer for staff, promoting best practice.

Contribute to service development and clinical governance initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist.

Proven experience working with children and young people with complex needs.

Ability to deliver therapeutic interventions and support multidisciplinary teams.

Strong organisational and leadership skills.

Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
