Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech & Language Therapist to join an independent specialist day school in Windsor, supporting both primary and secondary pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team embedded within a therapeutic learning environment. You will play a vital role in assessing, formulating, and delivering tailored interventions to help children and young people thrive both educationally and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver specialist speech and language therapy to children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, developmental trauma, and SEN.

Conduct clinical assessments and contribute to personalised care plans.

Provide therapeutic input within both educational and residential settings.

Offer guidance and training to staff to ensure clinically informed environments.

Monitor progress and provide feedback to teams and families.

Work collaboratively with a large network of clinical professionals.

Qualifications and Experience

Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.

Have experience delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs.

Be confident in supporting teams around the child to create therapeutic environments.

Be an effective communicator, trainer, and clinical role model.

Be highly organised and proactive.

Be committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
