Our physiotherapy team currently have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy assistant. The role will support the senior ward physiotherapist with treating predominantly orthopaedic patients on the ward and help run classes in outpatients.

As our Physiotherapy Assistant you will;

• •Support the ward physio to facilitate safe discharges of patients
• •Teach post operative exercises to the patients
• •Help with administration tasks

To succeed as a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will need;

• •Experience working in an orthopaedic inpatient environment
• •Experience teaching patients exercises
• •Good communication skills

We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment, Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.
