ACCIONA Construction is looking for a Piling Manager to be based in the Philippines. The role will be key to ensuring the proper planning, coordination and execution of piling works, in line with project needs, technical specifications, safety standards and operational requirements.

Job Description

The Piling Manager oversees marine piling operations for bridge construction, including offshore and nearshore foundations. The role involves managing personnel, equipment, subcontractors, and marine assets to ensure the successful installation of piles and foundation systems while complying with safety, environmental, and engineering standards.

Reports To: Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• •Supervise driving of the piles, ensuring correct alignment, inclination, and embedment depth.
• •Monitor and record blow counts, hammer energy, and driving parameters in accordance with the pile driving criteria.
• •Oversee placement of the gravel layer inside the steel shell as per the required thickness and levelling tolerances.
• •Validate pile alignment.
• •Coordinate with survey, marine, and quality teams during operations.
• •Maintain accurate records of pile installation.

Required Skills and Competencies

Requirements:

• •Total Experience: 15 years
• •Experience in Similar Position in Marine Bridge Construction: 10 years
• •Strong knowledge of driven piles, bored piles, steel tubular piles, and marine foundation systems.
• •Degree in Civil Engineering
• •Professional English
