We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Planning & Control Manager within the new Aerospace Procurement organisation, specifically working within the Casting Supply Chain as part of the Raw Materials Commodity Group.

We are recruiting this role to further strengthen our teams and drive improved performance across our external supply chain. Our Supplier Management teams work closely with our external supply chain partners to ensure we deliver on our customer commitments, and this role will play a critical part in ensuring this is achieved in a sustainable way.

As Planning & Control Manager, you will lead Planning & Control activities across the product lifecycle for our external supply chain, ensuring inventory and logistics costs are optimised and delivery performance expectations are met.

What you will be doing:

• •Lead the team and its performance through effective understanding and use of performance data.
• •Support the team in the management of key delivery metrics.
• •Coordinate the Sales and Operations Planning process for the commodities and supply chain value stream.
• •Anticipate and resolve mid-term delivery risks and issues.
• •Drive improved performance across the external supply chain, supporting delivery against customer commitments.
• •Support the optimisation of inventory and logistics costs while ensuring delivery performance expectations are met.
• •Develop and coach team members, supporting their professional growth and the delivery of a great customer experience.
• •Build effective relationships and communicate across the business, including with internal and external stakeholders.

Position Qualifications:

• •Relevant experience within Planning, Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain.
• •Robust knowledge of Planning & Control principles and processes.
• •Knowledge and experience of SAP and/or MRP.
• •Ability to understand and use performance data and key delivery metrics to support decision-making and drive performance.
• •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with all parts of the business and with external stakeholders.
• •Ability to anticipate and support the resolution of delivery risks and issues.
• •Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• •Experience of Sales and Operations Planning within a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
• •Experience working with external suppliers and/or within supplier management.
• •Experience managing inventory, logistics and delivery performance.
• •Experience leading, developing and coaching team members.
• •Experience within a complex manufacturing, aerospace or similarly regulated supply chain environment.
