What will you do?

Reporting to the Regional Project Manager, you will lead the execution and governance of a multi-million-euro CAPEX portfolio while developing and leading a team of Project Managers and Engineering professionals

You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of strategic projects that support growth, operational excellence, sustainability, safety, quality, and business transformation.

Key responsibilities

• •Lead and manage an annual CAPEX portfolio exceeding €15 million.
• •Drive Greenfield, Brownfield, capacity expansion, efficiency and sustainability projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
• •Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and Engineering professionals.
• •Partner with senior business leaders to define investment priorities and project roadmaps.
• •Develop project business cases and lead investment approval processes.
• •Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to Nutreco standards.
• •Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, HSE, Procurement and Site Leadership Teams.
• •Drive a culture of continuous improvement, leadership development and project management excellence.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a strategic leader who combines strong project management expertise with exceptional people leadership skills and the ability to influence across all organizational levels.

You will bring

• •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• •8+ years of experience leading major CAPEX projects valued above €10 million.
• •Strong experience managing project portfolios in manufacturing environments.
• •Experience leading teams of Project Managers and Engineering professionals.
• •Exposure to Food, Animal Nutrition, Aquafeed, FMCG, or Fine Chemicals industries.
• •Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• •Fluent English.

Preferred

• •PMP certification.
• •Experience in operations, manufacturing or maintenance environments.
• •International exposure and additional languages such as Portuguese.
