Plant Manufacturing Head – Precision Machined Components

Role Overview

The Plant Manufacturing Head will be responsible for end-to-end management of the plant, leading all manufacturing operations with a strong focus on precision machining and heat treatment processes. The role carries full accountability for plant performance, including budgeting and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Take complete charge of plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance and manpower

Oversee precision machining and heat treatment processes to ensure output meets quality and delivery targets

Prepare, manage and monitor the plant budget, and drive cost optimization

Plan production schedules and ensure efficient use of machines, materials and people

Lead and develop plant teams across functions

Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and quality system requirements

Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality and process efficiency

Report plant performance to senior management

Requirements

Experience18-25 years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong background in precision machining and heat treatment

Proven experience in plant budgeting and financial control

Experience leading a complete plant or major manufacturing operation

Background in precision / auto component manufacturing preferred

Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial/Metallurgy preferred
