2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday: 2:00 pm - 12:30 am

How you will do it

• •Assists Electricians, Welders, and Assemblers as necessary for projects as time allows.
• •Problem-solving skills.
• •Able to braze AND solder copper pipe ½” – 4”.
• •Maintains a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.
• •Able to work with PVC pipe
• •Experience with power tools.
• •Performs other assigned work as required.
• •Must be able to read blueprints and follow SOP’s.

Required:

• •Proven experience as an industrial plumber, with a strong understanding of industrial plumbing systems.
• •This position requires shop work. When working in the shop, one must exercise caution as this environment presents many naturally occurring and potentially worker-produced hazards. Safety policies must be always adhered to. Personal protective equipment (i.e., safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and others) must be always worn where required.
• •It is very important that the incumbent of this position can work and communicate with prudence, while effectively managing time, completing tasks, and working safely.
• •Completion of college/vocational or technical training preferred.
• •Appropriate credentials and certifications.
• •Ability to work shift work.
• •Ability to work in small spaces.
• •Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
• •Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allows one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
• •Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• •Able to work well under pressure.
• •Strong attention to detail.
• •Able to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
• •Other duties as assigned.
