Our multi-disciplinary practice is built on the core values of professional excellence, design quality and collaboration. We are seeking a Plumbing EIT 1 to join our Irvine office.

Summary:

The Plumbing Engineer in Training I works with Project Engineers on multiple design and documentation tasks while gaining experience toward their P.E.

Essential Functions:

• •Perform plumbing and fire suppression load calculations.
• •Perform HVAC load calculations.
• •Size and layout plumbing, HVAC, and fire suppression piping
• •Layout equipment rooms with proper clearances and access.
• •Design and draft details, sections, etc.
• •Confer with project team members and other engineering staff and prepare design modifications as required.
• •Survey existing conditions.
• •Attend seminars and continuing education programs.
• •Participate in design, analysis and documentation training.
• •Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

• •Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering.
• •E.I.T. (or qualified to sit for E.I.T.)
• •0 to 3 years’ experience
• •Strong Technical Capacity
• •Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit
