POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECHANIC

Summary

You will serve as a POWER SUPPORT MECHANIC in thePublic Works Department, Commander, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) of Naval Station.

Duties

• •You will inspect newly installed equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
• •You will repair system components to minimize down time.
• •You will check pumps, batteries, fan belts, and spark plugs for wear and tear or replacement.
• •You will perform visual, auditory, and dimensional checks on system components such as engines and electrical accessories of engines.
• •You will prepare accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of actions taken and assures documentation is properly signed and coordinated in a timely manner.
