PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE TECH

Description

• •Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, including machinery, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
• •Develop and implement maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations and operational needs.
• •Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues before they lead to failures, utilizing a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• •Conduct tests and measurements to evaluate equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
• •Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs and inventory management, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• •Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production.
• •Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, implementing best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
• •Assist other technicians with maintenance activities as directed.
• •Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance practices.

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• •Proven aptitude for preventive maintenance or industrial maintenance roles.
• •Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• •Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and CMMS.
• •Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• •Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• •Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or vocational training or a related field preferred
