About the Role:

The insurance Actuarial Group of Everest Insurance, a member of the Everest Group, Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Pricing Actuary, Casualty role to provide both traditional and technical support to Everest’s Primary Casualty business. This a hybrid position based out of our Warren, New York City, Stamford or Philadelphia offices. In addition to having strong technical capabilities, the ideal candidate will be high-energy, with a strong desire to learn and develop, and be attracted to the opportunity to develop new tools & capabilities within a rapidly expanding business.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• •Providing Senior Management with key strategic information
• •Analytics and system support
• •Development & enhancement of pricing and accumulation models
• •Research and assess vendor models and third party data. Make recommendations regarding the purchase of models and data.
• •Model exposures, produce summarized output and communicate results.
• •Collaborate with underwriting, catastrophe modeling and enterprise risk management teams on various projects and deliverables.
• •Work closely with underwriters and underwriting assistants to price and model complex accounts.

Qualifications, Education & Experienc e:

• •5-10 years of experience in the property-casualty insurance industry with significant commercial lines pricing experience
• •Previous pricing and/or modeling experience is desired but not essential.
• •Approaching ACAS
• •Excel expertise a must.
• •Proficiency in at least one of the following is a plus: SQL, Excel VBA, Power BI, R, SAS, Python

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• •Enjoys fostering collaborative relationships
• •Flexible and responsive to dynamic business needs including tight turnaround times
• •Comfortable with autonomy, responsibility and visibility
• •Detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills and ability to learn concepts and software tools quickly.
• •Very strong written and communication skills that cover experience communicating with analytical stakeholders as well

The base salary range for this position is $119,,000 - $150,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
