JOB PURPOSE

The Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in driving profitable growth across the United States, Canada and Mexico by providing pricing analytics, market intelligence, pricing governance, and pricing execution. This position partners closely with Sales, Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to develop pricing recommendations, support pricing strategy development, execute approved pricing actions, and ensure pricing accuracy across PriceFx and SAP S/4HANA. Through analysis of market conditions, customer behavior, competitive activity, and business performance, the Pricing Analyst helps optimize pricing decisions, improve margins, and support long-term business growth across North America. This is a hybrid position and candidates will be expected to be in office 3 days per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pricing Analytics & Strategy

• •Analyze sales, margin, cost, market, competitive, and customer data to identify pricing opportunities, risks, and business trends.
• •Analyze customer, product, and channel profitability to identify opportunities for margin improvement and portfolio optimization.
• •Conduct pricing simulations, scenario modeling, elasticity analyses, and profitability assessments to support business decisions.
• •Identify pricing leakage, discount inconsistencies, pricing anomalies, and opportunities for revenue and margin optimization.
• •Benchmark company pricing against competitors and aftermarket industry trends to support strategic pricing decisions.
• •Partner with Pricing Management and Category Management teams to evaluate pricing strategies, cost changes, market conditions, and growth opportunities.
• •Support value-based pricing initiatives, customer segmentation strategies, and product lifecycle pricing management.
• •Analyze customer profitability and purchasing behavior to support commercial negotiations and pricing recommendations.

Reporting & Performance Management

• •Create, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to monitor price realization, discounting behavior, margin trends, win/loss activity, and pricing compliance.
• •Provide ongoing analysis and reporting to support pricing decisions, business reviews, and management reporting.

Process Improvement & Systems Support

• •Support continuous improvement initiatives across the pricing function.
• •Assist in the implementation of pricing tools, analytical capabilities, and reporting enhancements.
• •Identify opportunities to automate pricing workflows, reporting, and data management processes.
• •Create and maintain pricing process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.

Pricing Execution & Administration

• •Utilize Pricefx to create, maintain, and approve customer pricing while ensuring accurate integration and data flow between Pricefx and SAP S/4HANA.
• •Manage customer pricing, discounts, sales programs, promotions, exclusions, and special pricing agreements in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with approved Salesforce requests and business policies.
• •Perform analysis and resolution of pricing discrepancies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• •Collaborate with Sales to execute customer pricing initiatives, coordinate price changes, track implementation milestones, and ensure timely communication and execution.
• •Maintain and update customer-facing pricing documentation, including price sheets, customer load files, and submissions to customer portals.

What we’re looking for

• •Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, marketing, business, finance, or related field is preferred but industry experience may be considered in place of degree
• •3+ years of pricing analysis, financial analysis, business analytics, sales operations, or related experience
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis, and reporting
• •Experience with Pricefx, SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Power BI, Microsoft Access
• •Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• •Process-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
• •Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Experiences

• •Experience in manufacturing, automotive aftermarket, automotive parts or related industries
• •Experience working with different product categories, automotive applications, part numbers, and interchanges
• •Knowledge of pricing strategy, discount structures, rebates, and margin analysis
• •Experience conducting market price research, competitive benchmarking, and channel price analysis to support pricing decisions
