Become part of Hempel’s growing & diverse Sales team. We are looking for a winner P ricing Manager that will be passionate about executing the pricing strategy for geographical area of responsibility and achieving targeted revenue, margin, and price quality objectives.

You will have the outstanding opportunity to report directly to our Global Pricing Manager, be based on our offices in Polinyà (Barcelona) , Spain or Athens, Greece whilst working on a daily basis with many other colleagues from all over the world.

What you can look forward to in this Role :

• •Support the Global Pricing Manager in the development and roll-out of our new pricing strategy that will enable sustainable growth across your geographical area scope
• •Drive pricing analysis by market to understand pricing dynamics: price efficiency, competitors’ movements, price increases, customer, and industry trends.
• •Take pricing actions to enhance profitability and closing deals
• •Identify potential quick wins in the business
• •Identify revenue and margin optimization potential
• •Monitor and communicate changing market conditions
• •Performance monitoring of assigned markets/segment in terms of revenue, contribution, and price performance across product families
• •You are the first point of contact for in the region for all pricing related matters
• •Align pricing impact and strategic price positioning with the pricing strategy team

• •Achieving revenue and volume targets for geographical scope
• •Improving product and project profitability
• •Achieving price standardization

What does it take to become our new team member?

• •Relevant experience / in a similar role
• •Analytical skills and numerical abilities with commercial attitude to generate insights and drive actions
• •Superuser in MS Office especially Excel and Power BI. Experience in python, SQL and experimentation techniques an advantage.
• •Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualisation software.
• •Strategic thinking and ability to translate effectively to execution planning
• •Strong financial focus and acumen to drive profitable choices
• •Validated system and data analytics tools and acumen to make informed decisions
• •Educational background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Business or Engineering
• •Proficient in English

Relevant competences

• •Quality and solution oriented with proven experience of working to quality standards and record keeping
• •High degree of self-initiative
• •Communication and stakeholder management skills
