Course: Principles of Hematology and Hemostasis

Fundamental theories of hematology and hemostasis are discussed, with an emphasis on the practice of routine laboratory evaluation of blood components using manual and microscopic methods, including safety and quality control. Introduction to abnormal hematology and hemostasis.

What You Will Do:

• •Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• •Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• •Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• •Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Qualifications:

• •Preferred: Master's degree and MLS certifications from ASCP or AMT
• •Minimum: Bachelor's degree and MLS certification from ASCP or AMT
