Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 11pm-7am

  • What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health
  • Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Responsibilities

  • The Process Inspector conducts quality checks on the produced product to ensure there are no visible defects
  • Visually inspects in-process/finished material while operating – informs designated teammates of any machine malfunction or defective product
  • Accurately manages traceability information, production information, cleaning documentation, and safety check documentation in the company system with a detail-oriented and quality-focused approach
  • Starts machines, observes for correct operation, adjusts, and starts general troubleshooting as needed
  • Moves empty and full bags/totes/boxes to and from the machine, adds labels/weighs product/verifies count/adds to box/inserts into shipper as needed, and stacks onto pallet
  • Practices department’s medical manufacturing and housekeeping procedures and complete cleaning verification checklists as required
  • Read, write, comprehend, and follow specifications, procedures, and instructions written in English
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive and productive team environment
  • Assist with other duties as assigned with or without accommodation
  • Work overtime as required

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  • 1+ years related work experience and/or training, preferred
