Job Description:

Ariens Company is seeking a motivated and passionate Process Technician that will provide support for production assembly lines and operations personnel, focusing on maximizing employee safety, product quality, delivery and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• •Pay: Starts at $24/hour + $4,000 sign on bonus
• •Schedule & Shift: Monday - Thursday (4 days x 10 hours); 5AM-3PM with overtime as needed

THE DAY TO DAY…

• •Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles
• •Wear appropriate PPE
• •Conduct cycle timing/line balancing
• •Support updating standard work & binder
• •Identify and implement VA/VE projects
• •Support process audits
• •Support torque audits
• •Support CI log process
• •Support safety/ergo team
• •New line layout/setup
• •Supporting new technology integration
• •Identify and implement new tooling
• •Audit tooling/fixtures
• •Troubleshoot tooling issues
• •Submit maintenance/SAFA request
• •Production Verification (PV) build support
• •Design Verification (DV) build support
• •Manage impact of PCS changes on the line
• •Train and develop others as necessary

THE QUALIFICATIONS…

• •A technical degree is preferred but not required
• •Experience using lean principles to drive continuous improvement
• •Ability to plan, coordinate, and implement projects ranging in size and scope
• •Experience dealing with a variety of people in a variety of settings
• •Moderate level or above computer skills with MS Office preferred
• •A strong mechanical aptitude
• •An ability to communicate effectively – written or verbal

THE WORK ENVIRONMENT…

• •Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day, depending on the shift
• •Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
• •Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies
• •Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
• •Desire for personal development and growth
• •Ability to work as part of a team
