Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Procurement Data Engineer to support procurement digital transformation and enable AI adoption across the function. As part of the Procurement Data Platform team, you will help build and maintain data pipelines that transform and deliver procurement data through the Procurement Data Model. You will also help establish the data foundation required for AI-driven solutions while ensuring master data governance throughout the process.

Your role:

• •You will work at the intersection of data, AI, and Procurement, with a focus on the development and implementation of AI-powered solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
• •You will support cross-functional AI initiatives that strengthen Procurement capabilities and accelerate AI adoption across the function.
• •You will contribute to the Source-to-Contract transformation program in SAP by working with Procurement and IT stakeholders, you will help translate business requirements into data solutions and enable the adoption of AI-driven ways of working.
• •You will Identify, evaluate, and drive process improvement opportunities, collaborating closely with respective Business Process Experts (BPEs) to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance.

You're the right fit if:

Experience: You have experience working with enterprise business data, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or other operational business functions, with procurement or supply chain experience as an advantage. You have worked with data pipelines and contributed to AI or machine learning solutions, ideally in production environments and regulated industries. You are familiar with data governance and data quality practices and enjoy translating data and AI challenges into practical business solutions.

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Analytics, or related discipline, and experience working at the intersection of technology, data, and business operations.

Skills: You are proficient in SQL and Python, including the Python ecosystem for data engineering and AI. You are experienced with enterprise data platforms, including technologies such as Databricks, SAP, and Azure, or comparable technologies. You have a good understanding of data modelling, data integration, and master data principles. Exposure to Excel and the Microsoft Power Platform is a plus. Knowledge of procurement, supply chain, or ERP data models is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is € 48,611.00 – € 81,018.00. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for annual incentive, with your rewards linked to KPIs/company results. • How we work together
• We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
