Job Description: Electrical Procurement Executive

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Position: Electrical Procurement Executive

Salary: Depends on experience and knowledge and interview

Experience: 2–5 years in electrical procurement/purchasing

Key Responsibilities

• •Handle end-to-end procurement of electrical materials, components, equipment, and accessories.
• •Source and identify reliable suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and vendors.
• •Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
• •Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial terms.
• •Prepare and process purchase orders as per approved requirements.
• •Coordinate with the sales, project, stores, accounts, and management teams regarding procurement requirements.
• •Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project and customer requirements.
• •Track purchase orders and follow up with vendors for pending and delayed deliveries.
• •Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new vendor networks.
• •Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, delivery performance, and service.
• •Verify material specifications and ensure that procured products meet the required standards.
• •Maintain procurement records, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor documentation.
• •Monitor market prices and keep updated on electrical product availability and price fluctuations.
• •Assist in inventory planning and ensure optimum stock levels for frequently required materials.
• •Resolve issues related to shortages, damaged materials, incorrect supplies, and vendor discrepancies.
• •Support management with procurement reports, cost comparisons, and savings initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field .
• •2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical procurement/purchasing.
• •Good knowledge of electrical products such as cables, wires, switches, MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, panels, lighting products, conduits, accessories, and related materials.
• •Strong vendor sourcing and negotiation skills.
• •Good understanding of purchase processes, quotations, purchase orders, and commercial terms.
• •Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office .
• •Experience with ERP/purchase management software will be an advantage.
• •Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• •Strong follow-up, coordination, and organizational abilities.
• •Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously.
• •Knowledge of Mumbai's electrical supplier and distributor market will be an advantage.
