This position reports to:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a functional work team to deliver accurate and timely procurement activities like transactional purchasing, e-sourcing, data management, and reporting. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company and Procurement team instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by tracking of procurement activities within the team, while ensuring quality of delivery service at improved transactional cost.

The work model for the role is: hybrid (8 office days per month).

This role is contributing to the Procurement Team in EUOPC (European Operation Center).

You will be mainly accountable for:

• •Managing stakeholder relationships and business priorities, ensuring successful realization of agreed objectives through strong engagement, communication, and alignment.
• •Leading the Procurement team responsible for sourcing, transactional, and supplier qualification activities, ensuring agreed SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
• •Organizing, allocating, and directing team resources, ensuring the area of responsibility is appropriately staffed and equipped with the required skills and capabilities.
• •Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members, providing constructive feedback and conducting performance evaluations to support their continuous development.
• •Ensuring full compliance with internal guidelines and procedures, ABB values, and Group standards across the area of responsibility.
• •Conducting process analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommending best practices to improve process speed, efficiency, and productivity.
• •Participating in budget planning and conducting monthly budget reviews to monitor and manage financial performance.

Qualifications for the role:

• •You have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Procurement functions.
• •You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in team management, with demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams.
• •You are at ease communicating in English at C1 level; knowledge of any additional language would be considered an asset.
• •Hands-on experience with SAP SCM Module and SAP Ariba SLP Module would be considered an asset.
• •You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders and teams.
