Product Developer Associate-SDET, Automation

About the role:

The Product Developer, Associate assists in developing and maintaining an Epicor product, working with members of the Product Development team.

What you will do:

• •Analyze product requirements and design specifications to create test cases and test scenarios.
• •Execute manual, exploratory, regression, UI, and API testing for new and existing functionality.
• •Create, maintain, execute, and analyze automated test cases using appropriate testing frameworks and programming languages.
• •Leverage AI tools to assist with test-case generation, test-data creation, defect analysis, documentation, and identification of potential test gaps; validate all AI-generated output for accuracy.
• •Record and track defects using approved defect-management software, including clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• •Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to reproduce issues and provide testing feedback.
• •Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing to confirm product quality.
• •Communicate testing results, risks, and findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you will need to succeed:

• •Working proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• •Understanding of the software development life cycle, software testing fundamentals, test types, defect lifecycle, and quality practices.
• •Foundational knowledge of UI testing, API testing, test automation, and test-case design.
• •Familiarity with approved AI tools and the ability to apply them responsibly to support testing, analysis, and documentation.
• •Strong communication, collaboration, deadline management, and basic problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with developers and product managers.

Qualifications:

• •High school diploma or equivalent.
• •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• •1+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, software development, or a related field.
• •Demonstrated ability to learn new programming languages, testing tools, automation frameworks, and AI-enabled technologies.
