• Your day at NTT DATA
• The Manager, Service / Product Development, is a senior management role, responsible for driving the execution of the service / product development strategy and objectives as defined by senior leadership.

In addition, this role supports the leading of the creation of innovative and customer-centric service / product offerings whilst driving sustainable growth.

The Manager, Service / Product Development supports a culture of collaboration and innovation across their team with a focus on operational excellence.

• Key responsibilities:
• •Supports with driving Agile methodologies across service / product development teams, ensuring effective implementation of Agile principles, practices, and ceremonies to deliver high-quality services iteratively and adaptively.
• •Collaborates among cross functional teams to work cohesively, communicate transparently, and achieve collective goals.
• •Provides expert guidance on technical architecture, software development best practices, and emerging technologies.
• •Supports with adoption of modern engineering practices, DevOps principles, and continuous integration/delivery.
• •Participates in communities of practices.
• •Enforces quality assurance practices.
• •Supports with promoting a culture of innovation by encouraging teams to explore new ideas, experiment with technologies, and implement improvements to enhance service quality, user experience, and efficiency.
• •Tracks key performance metrics related to service development and delivery.
• •Supports with utilizing data-driven insights to make informed decisions, optimizes processes, and drives continuous improvement.
• •Fosters professional growth and technical excellence by providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for skill enhancement.
• •Drives a culture of collaboration and innovation across the team with a focus on operational excellence.

• •Evidence of supporting the development of global product offering in liaison/ coordination with cross functional teams.
• •Demonstrates strong client focus.
• •Advanced knowledge of IT services, outsourcing and infrastructure markets across all verticals.
• •Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• •Ability to build consensus amongst many stakeholders; be comfortable with ambiguity.
• •Ability to thrive within high pressure, complex, fast paced environments.
• •Ability to work with multi-cultural and geographically dispersed virtual teams.
• •Advanced leadership and negotiation skills with our channels to market, third parties and internal delivery teams.

• Academic qualifications and certifications:
• •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or Business or related field.
• •Relevant certifications such as Scaled Agile and ITIL are beneficial.

• Required experience:
• •Advanced experience in IT services, specifically service / product developing within a large scale (preferably multi- national) technology services environment across a range of service offers/portfolios.
• •Advanced experience in an operational context within an IT services organization, with a solid understanding of client needs.
• •Advanced knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.
• •Advanced experience managing services / product development teams.
