About Katapult Labs

Katapult is an AI-first engineering studio connecting senior LATAM talent with startups and companies in the US. We're not a staff-augmentation shop: every person we put in front of a client represents Katapult, co-creates product, and owns the outcome directly, with no managers or leads acting as a layer in between.

The Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to be the most critical hire on the founding team behind one of our partners, an early-stage consumer product with big ambitions to become a real tech company. This is a B2C role, not B2B: our partner needs someone with genuine taste who understands both the business and the technical side well enough to shape an experience that feels great to millions of end users.

You'll act as the delivery lead and product manager for the engagement, working hand in hand with a design lead and a full-stack builder to define what gets built and why. We are not looking for a metrics-first or API-focused product manager. We're looking for someone who understands virality, growth, and engagement, someone who has shipped consumer products people love, and who can bring that instinct into a fast-moving 0-to-1 environment.

Key Responsibilities

Own the product vision and roadmap for a consumer-facing application from early stage onward

Act as delivery lead, coordinating closely with a design lead and full-stack builder(s)

Define and prioritize features that drive engagement, retention, and virality

Translate a non-technical founding team's ideas into clear, buildable product direction

Use product analytics to understand user behavior and guide iteration

Bring strong design sensibility to every product decision, ensuring the experience feels polished and intentional

Requirements

Advanced conversational English, since all collaboration happens in English

Proven experience as a Product Manager on consumer-facing (B2C) applications with high user engagement

Strong product taste and design sensibility, comfortable partnering closely with design

Passionate about technology and building things with AI, we need someone a little bit technical that can develop features if needed.

Experience using product analytics tools such as Amplitude or PostHog to track engagement, funnels, and virality

Comfort operating in a 0-to-1 environment with a non-technical founding team

Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a true delivery lead, not just a backlog manager

Nice to Have

Background in consumer apps with a strong social, video, or content component

Experience working directly with founders in early-stage startups

Familiarity with growth and virality mechanics in mobile-first products

Work-Life Balance

Work from Anywhere in Latin America: Enjoy the freedom to work remotely from any country in Latin America.

23 Days of PTO per Year: Take time to recharge with paid time off, accrued monthly (1.91 days/month).

USA Federal Holidays

Financial Benefits

Monthly Payment in USD: Get paid in US dollars, no matter where you are.

Contractor Agreement with No End Date: Enjoy the stability of a long-term contract.
