About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to own and evolve our marketing technology and email lifecycle platform. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, marketing operations, and data privacy driving the roadmap for our Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) ecosystem, email campaign platforms, and consent/preference management (including OneTrust Preference Center) while contributing to broader digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with hands-on technical fluency in SFMC, email marketing best practices, and privacy-compliant customer communication frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the email marketing and marketing automation platform (SFMC), aligning with business goals and customer engagement strategy.
  • Partner with marketing, CRM, legal, and compliance teams to design and manage subscription and consent workflows using OneTrust Preference Center.
  • Define and prioritize product requirements (PRDs/user stories) for email journeys, automation workflows, and personalization capabilities within SFMC.
  • Collaborate with engineering and MarTech teams to integrate SFMC, OneTrust, and other digital marketing tools into a unified customer data and communication ecosystem.
  • Drive consent management and preference center enhancements to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, and other global privacy regulations.
  • Analyze campaign performance, deliverability metrics, and subscriber preference data to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholder alignment across Marketing, Legal, Data Privacy, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for email engagement, list health, opt-in/opt-out rates, and preference center adoption.
  • Support broader digital marketing initiatives including campaign personalization, audience segmentation, and channel orchestration.
  • Manage the product backlog, sprint planning, and release cycles in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Stay current with SFMC platform updates, OneTrust feature releases, and evolving data privacy regulations to proactively adapt the roadmap.
  • Create documentation, training materials, and enablement content for internal stakeholders on platform capabilities.

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC): Deep hands-on experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder, and Content Builder.
  • OneTrust Preference Center: Proven experience configuring, managing, or integrating OneTrust Preference Center for subscription management, consent capture, and privacy compliance workflows.
  • Email Campaign Management: Strong background in designing, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, and automated journeys.
  • Product Management Fundamentals: Solid grounding in Agile/Scrum methodologies, product roadmapping, backlog management, and writing clear PRDs/user stories.
  • Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Ability to translate business and compliance needs into detailed technical and functional requirements.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience analyzing campaign and platform metrics (open rates, CTR, deliverability, opt-in/opt-out trends) to inform product decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to align Marketing, Legal, Privacy, and Engineering teams around a shared roadmap.
  • Email Deliverability & Compliance: Working knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, CASL, and email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

Secondary Skills (Good-to-Have)

  • General Digital Marketing: Familiarity with SEO/SEM, paid social, display advertising, and multi-channel campaign orchestration.
  • CRM/CDP Familiarity: Working knowledge of Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud, or customer data platforms (CDPs) that integrate with SFMC.
  • SQL & AMPscript: Basic to intermediate scripting skills for data extensions, audience queries, and dynamic content personalization in SFMC.
  • Other ESPs/MAPs: Exposure to other marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, or Iterable.
  • Privacy & Consent Tech Ecosystem: Awareness of other consent management platforms (CMPs) or privacy tech tools beyond OneTrust.
  • UX/UI Sensibility: An eye for user experience in designing intuitive preference center and email interaction flows.
  • API & Integrations Knowledge: Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware tools used to connect SFMC, OneTrust, and other systems.
  • Certifications: SFMC certifications (Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant) and/or OneTrust certification are a strong plus.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6–10 years of overall experience, with at least 3+ years in a Product Manager role focused on MarTech, CRM, or email marketing platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required; experience with OneTrust or similar consent/preference management tools is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, insurance) with strict data privacy requirements is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
