The Production Assembler and Painter position is responsible for performing production assembly activities and preparing products for final finishing within a workshop environment. This role combines hands-on assembly work with painting and finishing responsibilities to ensure products meet quality, safety, and customer requirements. The successful candidate will work with manufacturing instructions, production specifications, and established work methods to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.

In this role, you will assemble products and components according to detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications. You will prepare surfaces and apply coatings, paint, and finishes using approved processes and materials to achieve required quality standards. You will be responsible for verifying that the correct materials, components, and tools are available before beginning work and ensuring all assembly and painting activities are completed according to production schedules.

The Production Assembler and Painter will inspect completed work to verify quality and conformance to specifications, identify and resolve routine production issues, and maintain accurate production records as required. You will work closely with production, quality, and materials teams to ensure products are completed on time and meet customer expectations. The role also includes maintaining a clean and organized work area and following all applicable safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

This position requires the ability to work independently on assigned tasks while following established processes and work methods. Daily responsibilities involve solving routine technical and production-related issues associated with assembly, materials, and finishing activities, with guidance and supervision available when needed.

Requirements:

Candidates typically have 1-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, assembly, painting, production operations, or a related field. Experience using hand tools, power tools, painting equipment, and finishing materials is preferred. The ideal candidate can read and follow manufacturing instructions, work orders, and production specifications with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

The successful candidate should possess strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills are important, as the role requires collaboration with various departments to support efficient manufacturing operations.
