PRODUCTION CONTROLLER

Summary

You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the Waterfront Operations Department of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER. Help keep the Fleet mission-ready. Join SWRMC in San Diego to plan and coordinate critical ship maintenance and modernization projects.

Duties

• •You will administer the advance planning and planning phases of major maintenance and modernization availabilities on surface ships and crafts with planning contractors.
• •You will coordinate total effort involving scheduling, planning, design and material for overhauls, conversions, modifications, repairs and activation/deactivation of vessels.
• •You will plan emergent repair availabilities.
• •You will oversee the processing and recording of work requests leading to development of formal specifications.
• •You will oversee the preparation, completeness, accuracy and distribution of specification packages in accordance with predetermined milestone dates.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the advance planning and planning phases of maintenance and modernization availabilities of surface ships and crafts.
