Who is Re:Build Fikst?

Re:Build Fikst, a Re:Build Manufacturing company, is a dynamic product development and engineering consulting firm located in Wilmington, MA. We work with pioneering clients to develop their technology, design their products, and bring those products to production. Re:Build Fikst's areas of expertise include industrial automation, robotics, biomedical instruments and consumables, microfluidics, specialty plastic design, optics, and design for manufacturing. We have extensive in-house laboratory and rapid prototyping capability including CNCs, 3D printers and laser cutters, which help facilitate our ability to prototype and innovate fast. As part of Re:Build Manufacturing, we are able to collaborate with other member sites and leverage a greater network of capabilities including composites, industrial design, structural analysis, and embedded systems design.

Hands-on craftspeople who take ownership of precise assembly tasks while proactively seeking guidance and collaboration to solve bottlenecks.

Detail-oriented technicians who meticulously follow work instructions, use their curiosity to provide valuable feedback, and take an active role in updating documentation for continuous improvement.

Mentors and collaborative peers who embrace bidirectional trust, clearly communicate problems to the team, and stop to help train newer technicians on assembly tools and techniques.

Results-oriented problem solvers who use a first-principles approach to untangle line challenges and minimize bottlenecks.

Flexible personalities who are comfortable navigating both highly repetitive assembly tasks and a wide variety of short-term, complex duties.

What You'll Get to Do:

Execute a wide variety of assembly and manufacturing processes while building strong collaborative relationships across the production floor.

Take ownership of advanced quality control, incoming inspection, and inventory management tasks.

Actively participate in the creation and improvement of new work instructions and assembly documentation to streamline processes and uphold our "done well" namesake.

Serve as a crucial, trusted resource on the production team, fostering an environment where curiosity and high craftsmanship thrive.

What You Bring to the Team:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

One to five years of similar or related experience (level and compensation will be commensurate with experience).

A two-year college degree, completion of a specialized certification or licensing, specialized training courses conducted by equipment vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Proven experience with hands-on technical work, preferably in the biomedical field.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

A strong basic understanding of science to consider temperature, pressure, and materials in your daily tasks.

Location: 100% onsite - Wilmington, MA

The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 - $40.00. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
