Production Technician, Shift 1

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Technician to support manufacturing and assembly operations. This role is responsible for executing production processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow standardized procedures while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform assembly, integration, and basic testing of mechanical and/or electronic components. • Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and production documentation accurately. • Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment as required. • Inspect components and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. • Identify and report non-conformances or process deviations. • Maintain accurate production records and documentation. • Support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce defects. • Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with workplace standards.

Qualifications

Education:

Relevant studies or technical training in manufacturing, electronics, mechanics, or a related field.

Experience:

A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly environment. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a regulated or high-quality manufacturing environment. • Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings. • Experience using manufacturing tracking systems. • Previous experience working in controlled production environments.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized processes. • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. • Strong time-management skills and ability to meet production deadlines. • High level of accountability and reliability.

Technology Stack:

Hand and power tools • Basic measurement tools (calipers, multimeters, torque tools) • Microsoft Office Suite • Electronic documentation systems

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in a production or manufacturing environment. • Manual dexterity required for handling tools and small components. • Ability to perform repetitive tasks. • Ability to wear required protective equipment.
