Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Production Worker to join our team at our Collegedale, TN location. This position will report to the Production Supervisor. As a Production Worker, you will play an important role on our high-speed production line, ensuring the efficient and precise packaging of our snack cakes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• •Assisting with the packaging and inspection of finished food products that may include:
• •Packaging unwrapped snack cakes into individual wrapping
• •Placing wrapped snack cakes into cartons
• •Filling cases with cartons of snack cakes
• •Arranging cases onto pallets for shipment, following specific stacking patterns

• •Monitoring production processes to meet quality and productivity targets
• •Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• •Following production schedules and meeting production quotas
• •Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications

• •Ability to meet strict attendance guidelines (with or without an accommodation)
• •Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced production environment
• •Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
• •Ability to stand for extended periods
• •Basic computer skills and ability to learn production systems/software
• •Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with others
• •Ability to learn new processes, procedures, and equipment
• •Ability to lift 20 to 40 pounds on a regular basis (with or without an accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

• •Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• •Previous experience in food manufacturing or a related field
