Job Description:
The Program Aide plays a key role in supporting a variety of recreational programs and activities across the Unified Government Parks and Recreation Department. This position provides hands-on assistance with youth and adult recreation programs, sports leagues, community events and facility operations
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with the planning and delivery of youth and adult recreation programs, including camps and seasonal events.
· Support the setup, coordination, and oversight of indoor and outdoor sports league activities
· Monitor facilities during programs to ensure safety and proper use
· Schedule and coordinate activities and facility usage as needed.
· Maintain accurate records of program participation, outcomes and attendance
· Prepare routine reports and assist with participant registration
· Support community outreach efforts to promote programs and increase engagement
· Perform general clerical duties, such as data entry, filing and responding to inquiries.
· Request and track supplies needed for various programs and events.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED and one year of related experience; or,
· ability to work with diverse age groups in a recreational setting
· Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
· Basic computer and administrative skills
Salary Range:
$17.25/hr.
