Description of Work

Position will serve as Program Coordinator II providing technical and administrative support for construction project documentation and compliance in the Beryl Road Resident Engineer’s Office. Duties include processing monthly and final estimates, checking calculations, resolving pay record and material quantity discrepancies, researching project documents, processing material prepayment, assisting with project meetings, and tracking Technician Certifications to ensure they are kept current, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Selected applicant must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle.

The program area for this position includes one or more of the following: working knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, experience processing invoices/payments, experience resolving record discrepancies and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Salary Grade and Salary Range: NC10 $43,267 - $75,718

Management prefers applicants with the following:

• •Working knowledge and skill in the use of computer equipment, software and mathematical functions.
• •Experience completing and/or maintaining records and reports
• •Experience reviewing detailed documents and records for accuracy and completeness
• •Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision and prioritize daily tasks
• •General knowledge of state and/or federal rules and regulations to determine compliance

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree from appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
