NewYork-Presbyterian has a long tradition of bringing hope, health and healing to our communities. The Center for Community Health Navigation at NYP was developed 20 years ago to support the health and well-being of NYP patients and community members through the delivery of culturally sensitive, peer-based support in the emergency, inpatient, primary care and community settings. Now we are seeking a Program Director to help drive this work forward .

Program Director for Center for Community Health Navigation – WC/Corporate

This Center for Community Health Navigation Leadership role is responsible for the hands on, operational oversight of Patient Navigator Programs located across 4 Emergency Departments of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and future inpatient areas. Specific responsibilities include on-site rounding and day to day support, cross-site operational leadership, staff supervision and development, close collaboration with clinical and administrative colleagues, program monitoring and reporting, standardization of systems and best practices, budget and P & L responsibility, compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements, among other leadership responsibilities.

Preferred Criteria

• •Master’s Degree
• •Program/Operations experience

Required Criteria

• •Bachelor’s Degree
• •Minimum of 5 years management experience, 3 years of which must be in a health care setting
• •Strong leadership and team development skills
• •Extensive knowledge of health care delivery programs in underserved/ethnic communities
• •Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and implement programs with proven outcomes
• •Strong reporting and analytic skills
