Program Financial Analyst
Job Description:
Develops and maintains program budgets and financial forecasts
Tracks and reports on program spending, comparing actuals to budget and identifying variances
Analyzes financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and trends for program leadership
Manages procurements, SOWs, accruals, invoicing, and financial reconciliation processes for the program
Skill Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
2-3+ years of relevant experience in a financial analyst, or similar finance roles
Experience working within a project-based or program management environment is strongly preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling, pivot tables, complex formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), and data analysis
Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and performing detailed variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast)
Solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly around accruals, invoicing, and the month-end close and reconciliation process
