Program Manager, Apprenticeships, AUTA Apprentice Program Team

Amazon's apprenticeship programmes are expanding across the APJC market, with the opportunity to grow into additional countries. In this role, you will own the end-to-end apprentice experience, from onboarding through conversion to full-time employment, while scaling programmes into new markets and ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations and funding frameworks. You will work across HR, Legal, Procurement, recruiting, training providers, and government entities to build scalable operating models, standardize processes, and implement digital workflows that reduce administrative burden. • Key job responsibilities
• - Lead day-to-day apprenticeship programme operations across multiple countries, partnering with HR, Legal, recruiting, and business leaders to remove blockers, manage cohort planning, and drive apprentice-to-employee conversions.
• - Establish and manage relationships with training providers, registered training organizations, and government-funded skills bodies, including overseeing provider selection, contract negotiation, curriculum alignment, and quarterly performance reviews.
• - Ensure compliance with country-specific apprenticeship regulations and funding frameworks by maintaining documentation for government funding claims, tracking on-the-job and off-the-job learning requirements, and reviewing terms of employment with Legal and local HR.
• - Design and deliver apprentice engagement initiatives, monitor programme health through completion rates and satisfaction data, and report outcomes to leadership with clear, data-driven narratives.
• - Leverage AI support tools and government compliance expertise to standardize processes, implement digital workflows, and build scalable operating models that support sustainable programme growth across new markets.

• About the team
• The Apprentice Program Team sits within Amazon's University Talent Acquisition organization and manages apprenticeship programmes end-to-end on a global scale. We partner across countries to create consistent, high-quality experiences for apprentices while navigating the unique regulatory requirements of each market. Basic qualifications

• - 5+ years of program or project management experience
• - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred qualifications

• - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
• - Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
• - Experience in HR shared services, IT services, operations and/or compliance
