Program Manager

Description

Summary: Reporting to the VP/GM, qualified candidate coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of assigned company customers and programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• •Coordinates preparation of proposals, plans, specifications and financial conditions of contracts
• •Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules
• •Develops solutions to program problems to assure programs are completed within time and budget constraints
• •Prepares reports for senior management to track progress and goals
• •Responsible for the coordination and completion of programs utilizing a wide degree of creativity and independent judgment.
• •Ensure strict adherence to aerospace industry quality management systems, safety regulations, and government export control laws (such as ITAR/EAR).

Qualifications:

• •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical field.
• •6 to 10+ years of project or program management experience within the aerospike, defiance or high-tech manufacturing industries.
• •Experience with complex multi-year programs involving Military Contractors or subcontract providers. Manufacturing experience preferred.

• •Strong negotiating skills and tenacity in managing both people and programs
• •Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
• •Detail oriented with effective organization skills and ability to prioritize workload
• •Ability to translate complex technical problems into basic terms both verbally and in written form
• •Ability to read and interpret technical data packages, drawings and schematics
• •Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within DoD environment
• •Strong computer skills with EXCEL and POWER POINT
• •Ability to communicate in a cross-functional production environment
• •Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
