Summary

Duties

  • You will serve as the Deputy Branch Head for Strategic Initiatives, for the Submarine Industrial Base (SIB) office
  • You will serve as principal deputy to the Strategic Initiatives Branch Head, supporting management and execution of the Submarine Industrial Base strategic engagement portfolio and representing the Branch Head, as delegated
  • You will lead assigned strategic initiatives and complex special projects; establishes project plans, milestones, deliverables, responsibilities, performance measures, and implementation approaches.
  • You will coordinate across Submarine Industrial Base functional areas and with government, industry, academia, workforce organizations, and state and local stakeholders to advance program priorities and resolve execution issues.
  • You will develop executive-level briefings, decision papers, status reports, dashboards, and other products that support senior-leader engagements, decisions, and follow-up actions.
  • You will supervise assigned personnel; establishes priorities and performance expectations; provides technical and programmatic guidance; and supports workforce planning, training, and professional development.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading programs, strategic initiatives, or special projects to identify risks and recommend corrective action.
