Summary

Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the AUKUS Integration and Acquisition (I&A) office.

Duties

  • You will serve as the Combat Systems Lead, as the program manager and leader responsible for coordinating the design, integration, acquisition, testing, and delivery of all combat system requirements.
  • You will also ensure software, hardware, sensor suites, weapons control capabilities and associated support elements are delivered across all phases of the AUKUS Pillar 1 trilateral program.
  • You will navigate and lead cross-organizational integration across Team Submarines.
  • You will perform as a highly organized, forward-thinking leader, the incumbent sets the standard for a highly professional team.
  • You will as the Combat System Lead actively liaise with Deputy Program Manager and Program Managers across other Program Offices building trust with organizations to support critical AUKUS milestones and driving delivery against competing priorities.
  • You will routinely liaise with Australian and United Kingdom defense counterparts and must be prepared to travel internationally in support of AUKUS combat systems objectives.
  • You will engage in trilateral and international environments, and act as the designated US Lead representing the unified Team Submarine position, demonstrating exceptional judgment, diplomatic acumen, and commitment to US strategic interests.
  • You will manage complex financial lines, oversee Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases, and establish structured accountability systems to track outcomes.
  • You will be capable of translating technical engineering and acquisition activities into reportable, strategic outcomes, confidently briefing Senior Executive Service (SES) and Flag Officers.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing acquisition lifecycle compliance and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program requirements (e.g., cost estimates, schedule, performance reporting, integration, logistics, and budgeting) to meet the product and service objectives of allied international naval fleet customers. 0340 Classification Standards: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/classifying-general-schedule-positions/standards/0300/gs0340.pdf Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
