Program Manager, BXT-SE

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to own and oversee the operations of Amazon's Medical Clinics across 40+ office locations in India. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for ensuring continuous, uninterrupted availability of clinical services — including on-site medicines and qualified nursing staff — at every clinic, at all times. You will manage vendor and staff transitions seamlessly, drive standardization and compliance across sites, and partner with a broad set of stakeholders spanning Procurement, GREF (Global Real Estate & Facilities), clinical teams, local site leaders, and HR partners. This is a role for a self-starter who thrives on operational excellence, ambiguity, and scaling employee health services across a large, geographically distributed footprint.

• Key job responsibilities
• Clinic Operations Oversight: Own end-to-end operations of medical clinics across 40+ Amazon office locations in India, ensuring consistent service quality, availability, and compliance with applicable regulations and Amazon standards.
• Continuity of Care: Guarantee uninterrupted availability of essential medicines, medical supplies, and nursing/clinical staff at all clinics at all times, including proactive planning for demand, stock-outs, and coverage gaps.
• Transition & Change Management: Plan and manage all staff and vendor transitions (onboarding, offboarding, replacements, contract changes) with zero disruption to clinic availability or employee experience.
• Vendor Management: Partner with Procurement to select, onboard, and govern clinical service and pharmacy vendors; monitor SLAs, service quality, and contractual compliance, and drive corrective action where needed.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Procurement, GREF, clinical teams, local site leaders, and HR partners to align on clinic setup, facilities readiness, staffing, and service delivery.
• Standardization & Scale: Develop and implement standardized processes, playbooks, and mechanisms to ensure consistent clinic operations across all locations, and to scale efficiently as the footprint grows.
• Compliance & Risk: Ensure clinics operate in accordance with local statutory, medical, and licensing requirements; identify and mitigate operational and clinical risks.
• Metrics & Reporting: Define, track, and report on key operational metrics (availability, staffing coverage, medicine stock levels, incident response, employee utilization/satisfaction) and drive data-informed improvements.
• Escalation Management: Serve as the primary escalation point for clinic-related operational issues, resolving them promptly and implementing preventive measures.

• A day in the life
• You start your day by reviewing the operational dashboard across all 40+ clinics — checking overnight incidents, medicine stock levels, and any staffing gaps flagged by site teams. You spot that a clinic in Hyderabad has a nurse on unplanned leave; you coordinate with the vendor and HR partner to arrange immediate backup coverage so there's no service interruption.

Work with Procurement on any contractual needs, a pharmacy vendor and align on SLAs for medicine replenishment timelines. You then sync with GREF on facilities readiness for clinic, ensuring the spaces meet clinical requirements and licensing standards.

• meet with the clinical team to review a new standardized triage protocol, connect with a local site leader across India who have concerns about clinic timings/availability/Medicines. You update your weekly metrics report — tracking availability, staffing coverage, and stock.
• You wrap up by documenting a transition plan for an upcoming vendor change at three sites, ensuring a smooth handover with no disruption to employees relying on the clinics.

Basic qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree or above
• - 4+ years of program or project management experience
• - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications

Preferred qualifications

• - Experience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation
• - Experience developing policies and supporting documentation
• - Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
