Selling Partner Support (SPS) safeguards customers, brands, selling partners, and Amazon against fraud, counterfeit, and abuse, while delivering world-class support and building loyalty with Amazon's Retail accounts. We champion individual expression, diverse perspectives, and an inclusive culture where every team member can contribute fully — strengths that collectively advance Amazon's mission of being Earth's most customer-centric company.
Within SPS, the Selling Partner Identity Verification (SPIV) organization focuses on understanding and verifying the identities of everyone we do business with — both vendors and sellers — and applying the right verification processes at every stage of their lifecycle. This includes detecting identity changes such as dormancy, reactivation, and ownership transfers, re-verifying as needed, mapping relationships between entities, and identifying partners who pose unacceptable risk.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytically driven leader who is passionate about protecting customers and empowering legitimate selling partners. This is a highly visible, cross-functional global role requiring close collaboration with international teams, senior stakeholders, and operational partners across Quality, Auditing, and Program Management.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, moves with urgency, and brings an entrepreneurial mindset to solving complex problems. You will lead the development of a goal commitment strategy for the Seller Experience Improvement team, build a quality project roadmap, and prepare strategic recommendations and program updates for senior leadership — all with a singular focus on the long-term direction of the SPIV organization.
The successful candidate will:
- Bring strong program management experience, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and enable business teams to deliver measurable results.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused, detail-driven, and professional approach.
- Leverage data to identify and isolate issues, develop solutions, and prioritize opportunities — particularly in support of Finance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design the right mechanisms for timely and effective program execution.
- Operate independently and resourcefully, delivering results with minimal direction while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
- Excel at multi-tasking and problem-solving, including in high-pressure, fast-moving environments.
- Build structure where none exists, with a track record of delivering in ambiguous, fast-paced settings.
- Remain adaptable to shifting priorities while keeping selling partner quality as the north star.
- Serve as a visible champion of Amazon's customer-centric culture, advocating for Finance's needs and using data and technology to anticipate and exceed them.
Basic qualifications
- - 3+ years of program or project management experience
- - 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred qualifications
- - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
