Programmer/Analyst, SQL

Description

The Programmer/Analyst, SQL researches, designs, implements, and troubleshoots ARRA Meaningful Use SQL reports for MEDITECH customers.

As a member of our Client Services team, your job would involve:

• •Writing SQL programs to interface with MEDITECH's Data Repository
• •Producing reports for our customers to assist them in achieving government reporting requirements such as the ARRA Meaningful Use Legislation
• •Providing direct technical support to our customers and analyzing their SQL programming needs
• •Working with application counterparts to translate MEDITECH data structures into SQL
• •Collaborating with application development to modify and enhance existing data structures.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s or associate degree in a computer programming related field (i.e., Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering)
• •Minimum of 1-3 years of Microsoft SQL Server experience
• •Proficiency in T-SQL (Transact SQL) and ASP, PHP, or C/C++
• •Ability to adhere to a consistent coding style and document coding procedures
• •Ability to understand the relationship between SQL queries/reports and integrity, performance, and locking
• •Ability to write both static and dynamic T-SQL
• •Excellent practical knowledge of T-SQL statements and constructs: queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, cursors, and loops
• •Ability to write efficient T-SQL queries and reports
• •Ability to troubleshoot and tune performance of existing reports using performance and analysis tools (Execution Plan, Profiler, Tuning Advisor)
• •Experience in large volume data processing and data analysis
• •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• •Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Hiring salary range: $54,000- $69,600 per year.

Actual salary will be determined based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
