the posting

Does it excite you to be the coordination engine behind global R&D projects, and do you have a talent for keeping cross-functional teams organized, informed, and on track? If this sounds like you, and you are ready to take on a broad area of responsibilities, then you could be our new colleague.

Your new position

As Project Coordinator, you will support global project teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects across Research and Development. You will keep projects moving — maintaining plans, tracking progress and risks, coordinating meetings, and ensuring documentation and communication stay accurate and compliant. Working closely with Project Leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, you will be a central point of coordination that helps teams deliver timely, high-quality results in line with our internal procedures and project governance standards.

We offer exciting responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and coordination of R&D projects, maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in accordance with project governance standards
  • Track project progress, dependencies, risks, and action items, and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Coordinate cross-functional project meetings — preparing agendas, capturing minutes, and following up on actions
  • Maintain accurate and compliant project documentation, including decision logs and status reports
  • Support the preparation of materials for governance forums, project reviews, and leadership updates
  • Assist with resource tracking, budget follow-up, and financial reporting where applicable
  • Ensure alignment with internal SOPs and quality standards, support change control and the documentation of scope or timeline changes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management tools, templates, and processes

Your profile

You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive — someone who brings order to complexity and keeps many moving parts aligned. You communicate clearly, follow through reliably, and build strong working relationships across functions. You take pride in accuracy and are motivated by helping teams deliver.

  • Experience in project coordination, project administration, or PMO support, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or another regulated R&D environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and competing deadlines
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, e.g. Smartsheet
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including minute-taking, status reporting, and stakeholder follow-up
  • Familiarity with project governance, SOPs, and quality/compliance requirements in a regulated setting
  • Relevant education, e.g. bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration, or a related field

Your new team

You will join the Project Management Office (PMO) and report to a Project Vice President. The role works in close partnership with Project Leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across Research and Development, supporting projects throughout the portfolio.
