Job Title: Project Delivery Professional – Core Production Programme - Submarines

Location: Derby

Working Pattern: Full Time / Permanent

Position Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Delivery Professional – Core Production Programme to join Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby. The role will be working on a high-profile, long-term and demanding programme of work .

What you will be doing

• •You will be accountable for the successful delivery of defined work package.
• •Facilitate and govern project management documents and artefacts.
• •Report the status of assigned work in accordance with the requirements of the project.
• •Manage and report variances to project baseline and report project Key Performance Indicators.
• •Review project data, identify and report trends, highlight anomalies and propose corrective action if performance is outside specification.
• •Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures to achieve the project success criteria.
• •Accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the defined timescales.
• •Facilitate and manage risk and opportunity activities.

• •Equivalent industry experience preferable or Degree level qualification. Experience of leading an Integrated Project Team, ideally gained within the engineering/manufacturing sector.
• •Strong background in Project Management.
• •Attained APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent; or can demonstrate equivalent PM knowledge.
• •Demonstrate good experience of working & delivering in cross functional teams.
• •Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience of SAP and P6 preferable.
• •Team player with an ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
