Implementation Project Manager – APAC Region

Reports To: Director, APAC Service Delivery

Basic Function

The Implementation Project Manager manages all project delivery activities to ensure the successful end-to-end implementation of Contruent solutions to our APAC enterprise customers.

Roles Responsibilities

Apply Contruent’s implementation methodology to ensure consistency in the customer experience and expedite the time it takes for our customers to realize value from our solutions. In collaboration with peers, contribute to continuous improvement and evolution of the methodology.

Develop and proactively manage project plans, resource assignments, budgets, scheduling, scope prioritization, change control, and issue/risk mitigation efforts necessary to successfully deliver the contracted Contruent products and services.

Manage all project communications, both internally and with the customer. This includes conducting regular status checkpoints, coordinating meetings, providing timely updates, tracking milestones and outstanding tasks, and providing visibility to project risks, dependencies, and potential delays.

Collaborate with internal Contruent teams to deliver platform configurations, integrate systems, enhance features, and track progress towards timely completion of deliverables.

Work closely with the Customer Success, Technical Support and Account Management teams to share knowledge and ensure a smooth transition into go-live and ongoing adoption.

Build strong relationships with our enterprise customers, acting as a trusted advisor throughout implementation.

Contribute to the creation of service delivery estimates, project schedules, configuration/implementation approaches, migrations, and customer deliverables.

Manage all aspects of customer implementations to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality services that meet customer requirements and accelerate time to value realization.

Monitor Scheduled-vs-Actual billable time variances, review project team time entry submissions for accuracy, and approve billable hours and completed milestones to enable generation of customer invoicing. (May include review of invoices prior to submission to customer).

Ensure that projects are appropriately staffed with the mix of role levels and skills necessary to ensure successful implementation and high customer satisfaction, while simultaneously achieving organizational business objectives and target metrics.

Support Contruent’s efforts to build and sustain productive relationships with external implementation partners within the region to provide for indirect resource elasticity in meeting customer demand.

Actively communicate cross-functionally within Contruent and with external implementation partners to address escalations and navigate challenging situations with professionalism and tact.

Provide market insights and customer feedback on a continuous basis as an input to Product Management for ongoing product roadmap consideration and prioritization.

Job Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required;

Experience:

Capital Project Controls domain expertise.

Working knowledge of/experience with Contruent (formerly ARES Prism) solutions desirable

Experience providing project management/delivery leadership for complex software implementation projects in a SaaS environment.

Experience managing multiple, large-scale projects concurrently.

Experience with matrix managing the delivery of services leveraging a mix of both direct (internal) and indirect (external subcontractor) resources.

Experience delivering implementation projects across multiple international time zones.

Experience managing the delivery of professional services under a variety of commercial constructs (e.g. T&M, Milestone-based Fixed Fee)

Experience with agile project management

Demonstrated ability to implement best practices and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Experience managing a formal project plan using project plan software (MS Project, Kantata, Smartsheet, Wrike, Financial Force, etc.)

Demonstrates a positive attitude and empathetic approach.

APM, PMI or other Project Management certification.

Working knowledge/hands-on experience with the following technologies a plus:

Salesforce - pipeline opportunity management

Kantata/Mavenlink - Professional Services Automation

Oracle Netsuite - financial reporting/management

Microsoft Power BI – Data Visualization tool

AWS – Amazon Web Services – Hosting

PPM Tools (e.g. Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)

ERP Technologies (e.g. SAP)

Travel Requirements

Up to 20% travel

Current authorization to work in Australia

Current passport (travel primarily within Asia Pacific countries)
