Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of water and wastewater treatment projects in Egypt and across the Middle East and Africa (MEA), as required. In this role, you will manage the technical, commercial, and contractual aspects of projects from initiation through installation, commissioning, and completion. You will work closely with customers, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and within the agreed timeline.

What You Will Do

• •Manage water and wastewater projects from start to finish, covering technical, commercial, and contractual requirements.
• •Lead site installation, commissioning, execution, and handover activities for water treatment plants (WTP), wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), and sewage treatment plants (STP).
• •Review and coordinate mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, process, and design requirements.
• •Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resources, and site activities to ensure timely and successful completion.
• •Coordinate directly with customers at site and independently manage project execution requirements.
• •Manage vendors and contractors, including the expediting of supplies and services.
• •Support operation and maintenance activities for water and wastewater projects, as required.
• •Monitor contractual and commercial obligations throughout project execution.
• •Provide strong support to project and site execution teams and promote effective teamwork.
• •Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• •Travel across MEA and stay at project sites when required by the business or project.

Minimum Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• •At least 10 years of relevant experience in project execution within the water and wastewater treatment industry.
• •Hands-on experience with site installation and commissioning of water and wastewater projects.
• •Technical understanding of WTP, WWTP, and STP systems, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and basic process requirements.
• •Experience in project planning, scheduling, resource management, and contractor management.
• •Knowledge of contract administration and commercial aspects of project delivery.
• •Strong communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English.
• •Willingness to travel across MEA and remain at project sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience managing operation and maintenance activities for water and wastewater facilities.
• •French language proficiency.
• •Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage customer relationships, and collaborate effectively in a multinational environment.
• •Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented approach.
