As a Project Manager, you're at the heart of ensuring our bird and drone radar projects in aviation, wind farms, and security markets soar to success. From meticulously planning and executing projects to keeping a watchful eye on budgets and timelines, you're the driving force behind our projects' triumphs. You'll be the handling certificates and export documents, and your proactive stakeholder management ensures our customers and colleagues are always in the loop. you'll be part of the Projects Team together with several other Project Managers.

Project Management sits in the Commercial organization, together with all other Robin departments part of the customer journey: marketing, sales and services.

Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with diverse teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

Project Execution Oversight: Manage research, development, prototyping, and testing phases to ensure successful project completion.

Project Documentation: Standardise and maintain critical project documentation (FAT, SAT, risk registers, status reports, etc.) and ensure all technical ‘as-built’ information is accurate and complete before handover.

Budget and Resource Management: Create and manage budget estimates while ensuring the availability of necessary resources.

Regulatory and Quality Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to all relevant regulations and quality standards.

Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders.

Product Launch Leadership: Oversee launch activities, including coordinating marketing and sales support efforts.

Post-Launch Performance Monitoring: Analyse performance data post-launch and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

A BEng/MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Over 6 years of experience in development projects within an engineering role, with at least 2 years in a project management capacity.

Solid understanding of product development methodologies and best practices; experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA) will be considered an asset.

Proficiency in project management and issue-tracking software (e.g. MS Project, Jira) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Odoo).

Knowledge of regulatory compliance is advantageous.

Fluency in written and spoken English.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams across diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work to successfully deliver projects.

Adaptable and assertive, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving improvements.
