Here within Anglian Water, we collaborate with a number of alliance partners to provide the best water and water recycling services across the region by maintaining our existing assets and undertaking new projects to safeguard future water supplies.

Playing a key part in our drive to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop is our Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Framework. Comprising of Anglian Water, MGroup, Barhale and Kier, the IOS Framework work together to concentrate on solutions across the water recycling and clean water asset base.

The IOS alliance works across multiple disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation. Incorporating new construction, replacement or repair. Spanning the entirety of Anglian Waters asset base.

To ensure water and water recycling projects area are managed successfully from inception to completion, ensuring all required standards, regulations, commercial affordability targets and time frames are met, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join the team who will be prepared to travel within the East Anglia area.

What will you be doing as our new Project Technician

Working with your local WR IOS delivery team and as part of the Project Technicians group, this role gathers data for Project Delivery Managers, Client Project Engineers and Partner Project Engineers. At DM1, this includes completing scheme data trawls to support evaluations and P&IDs; at DM2, it includes corporate systems interrogation and site surveys; at DM4, it includes completing scheme outputs and deliverables.

This information supports the efficient operation and maintenance of Water Recycling sites and improves the quality of asset data and equipment records held in SAP and GIS. As site visits are a key part of the role, a company van is provided and a full driving licence is essential. Full PPE and all other relevant equipment will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with Client Project Engineers and Partner Project Engineers to compile asset register records when a design evaluation is requested.

Source up-to-date HAZOPs or site schematics and P&IDs to assist in identifying and locating assets on site

Carry out site surveys as required

• •Carry out updates to Hazops or Site Schematics & valve schedules
• •Compile O&M Manuals, update Hazop Drawings or Site Schematics and other documents and publish on the agreed platform V3
• •Use detailed technical knowledge and understanding of asset hierarchy to accurately update SAP records
• •Proactively ensure that completion of these deliverables does not delay DM4/DM5 unnecessarily

Key Skills & Behaviours:

• •Knowledge and experience in using Sharepoint
• •Excellent IT skills, Office 365
• •Excellent numeric and literacy skills
• •Proven ability in collating and using spread sheet data
• •Ability and desire to learn new software packages (SAP, Visio, PDF writers and others)
• •Great communicator, able to build relationships with ease
• •Ability to progress own workload and to work to tight deadlines
• •Ability to manage/prioritise workloads
• •Full UK Drivers Licence
